Between Truth and Fiction: The Films Of Vivienne Dick

Synopsis

Vivienne Dick is an internationally-celebrated filmmaker and artist and was a key figure of the late 1970s and early 1980s No Wave movement in New York. Shot on Super-8, 16mm and video, Dick's films slip between fiction and documentary, with fragmentary narrative, dislocated imagery and compelling self-reflexive performances.
