Synopsis
An experimental assemblage of film, sounds and texts amassed into a symphony in three movements. First,
Patti Smith sings to wealthy passengers on a Mediterranean cruise ship who eat, converse and gamble and children demand serious explanations of the themes of Liberty, Equality and Fraternity from their parents. Then a French family debates revolutionary ideals at a petrol station and neighbouring house. The final section takes sound and image from Egypt, Palestine, Odessa, Hellas, Naples and Barcelona, in a poetic style with loose narrative.
