Synopsis
Down winding country lanes and behind the rural backwaters,
Raymond Depardon has spent 20 years making friends with and capturing on film the lives of a dying breed of farmers who treat contemporary life, newcomers and women with equal suspicion. Depardon, born into a farming family, presents a rural community and the legacies that bind them to land and family.
