Nobody Loves Anyone as Much as Adelaide Faith Loves Caveh Zahedi 

In June, American autobiographical filmmaker Caveh Zahedi visited London and presented a work-in-progress screening of his ambitious Joyce adaptation, Ulysses & I. In the audience was novelist Adelaide Faith who, after the screening, gave Caveh a copy of her book Happiness Forever. They began an almost immediately torrid epistolary affair, falling in love as they wrote to each other between Hastings and New York. Now, the Creative Nonfiction Film Weekend (CNFW) brings Caveh and Adelaide back to London where they will both read the story of their relationship from their differing points of view. The readings will be followed by an on-stage conversation and audience Q&A.

The reading will be preceded by a screening of Zahedi’s recently completed music video for Wiretap for Oral, a song by Saint Abdullah & Jason Nazary from their new album Wiretaps for Oral, released on Disciples. The video will be followed by a brief Q&A with Zahedi and Saint Abdullah’s Mohammad Mehrabani-Yeganeh.

Caveh Zahedi (The Show About the Show, I Am a Sex Addict) has been documenting his life on camera for over 30 years, following a controversial philosophy of absolute and uncompromising honesty.

Adelaide Faith began her would-be literary career making zines so she could interview boys she had crushes on. After many years of romantic disappointments, her therapist encouraged her to write about her romantic obsessions, so she wrote Happiness Forever, a novel about her obsession with her therapist.
