Schtinter will be in attendance for a post-screening Q&A hosted by Gareth Evans (9th of April only)

Starring Julie Christie, Stephen Dillane, Toby Jones, Stacy Martin, Hanns Zischler, this is Snow White unlike you’ve never – yes never – seen her before…

Schneewittchen (Snow White) is a feature-length film adaptation of Robert Walser’s disenchanted fairytale. Julie Christie plays the Queen, Toby Jones the Prince, Stephen Dillane the King, Hanns Zischler the Hunter, and Stacy Martin Snow White. The cinematography is by Sean Price Williams, and the sound is by Joshua Bonnetta.

“A parable for our post-truth times, Schtinter’s film provokes reflection on the ontology of a tale as it travels across languages, mediums, geographies and eras.” –  Srikanth Srinivasan, IFFR

This will mark the book launch of Snow, Always Snow: A Conversation Between Stanley Schtinter & Gareth Evans on the Implications & Associations Relative to a Film, Schneewittchen published by Tenement Press. Copies will be available to purchase during the event.
