We would like to invite you all to join us on Saturday 15th to celebrate Close-Up 10th anniversary, from 8pm till late!

Close-Up opened as a DVD library in 2005 and has grown to encompass a collection of 19,000 films, a lending book library and the prestigious Vertigo magazine archive. After 10 years of existence our aim to make film culture and history accessible to wider audiences has been completed with the opening of our 40-seat cinema. Now all gathered under one roof and with a 99-year lease not only will we celebrate our anniversary but also another 100 years of cinema!

We will be screening a selection of films throughout the night and leave the projection booth open so you can marvel at the two restored 35mm projectors in all their glory. Come and join us for an evening of films, music, drinks and good company with some of your favourite Close-Up staff members...
