Window

Synopsis

"Made at the London Film-Makers’ Co-Operative in Fitzroy Road, Camden Town. The building had been used as a canteen to the adjoining piano factory. The film originated as a site‐specific work made for an evening of three‐minute films, and was screened at dusk alongside the window through which it was shot. The image of windows fades gradually to white, the result of altering the print exposure on the 16mm contact printer that was housed in the adjacent room." – Guy Sherwin
